3 runners today in Kilbeggan and we also have 4 runners heading to Killarney;
Going by track:
Kilbeggan
Fast Medicine is the first horse off for us today running at 4:35 in the END OF SEASON CELEBRATIONS SEPTEMBER 8th MAIDEN HURDLE with Danny Mullins onboard
Timeform: Fairly useful Flat winner who shaped better than the distance beaten suggests when sixth of 18 in maiden at Galway (16.8f, soft) 20 days ago, getting very weary in stamina-sapping conditions late on.
Next at Kilbeggan Another Nightmare runs at 6:10 in the MULLINGAR MAIDEN HURDLE with C Quirke onboard
Timeform Twice-raced maiden under NH rules. 125/1, twelfth of 14 in bumper at Galway (18f, good to soft) on bumper debut 22 days ago. Switches from bumpers to hurdles. Significantly up in trip.
Lastly at Kilbeggan Miss Oreo runs at 7:55 in the JOHN THOMAS McNAMARA SERIES I.N.H. FLAT with Paddy Hanlon onboard
Timeform Twice-raced maiden. Tenth of 15 in bumper (25/1) at Galway (16f, soft) 20 days ago, doing too much too soon. Hood back on. Others make more appeal.
Killarney
Bedelia is the first off at Killarney for us at 4:15 in the LARKIN'S BAR & FRANCIE SHEAHAN'S BAR 3-Y-O MAIDEN HURDLE with Simon Torrens onboard
Timeform Ballinrobe claiming winner for Gavin Cromwell in June but showed no aptitude for hurdling on yard debut at Tipperary (2m) in July and again well held back on the Flat at Cork (10f) later last month. Passed over here.
Finding Freedom is next at 5:53 in the FAILTE HOTEL, BAR & RESTAURANT BEGINNERS CHASE with Jody McGarvey onboard
Timeform Poor form over hurdles and whilst he showed a bit more than previously when sixth of 12 in novice chase at Kilbeggan (25f) 6 weeks ago, low-grade handicaps will be more his bag in this sphere.
A Mere Bagatelle is our second last runner at Killarney today at 7:03 in the LAURELS PUB & RESTAURANT HANDICAP CHASE with Sean Flanagan onboard
Timeform 10/1, pulled up in handicap chase at Kilbeggan (19f, soft) 35 days ago, pulled up before last. Cheekpieces back on. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.
To end off the day at Killarney Patrol Leader runs at 8:20 in the JIM RYAN MEMORIAL I.N.H. FLAT with Ma.. O'Sullivan onboard
Timeform French Navy gelding. Half-brother to fair hurdler Lunastar. Dam, 5f/6f winner, half-sister to smart hurdler/very smart chaser (stayed 2¾m) Midnight Shadow.
